This is my last post in the Ama Et Bemma's New Year New Books blog tour! There have been some great events. Hope you have enjoyed following along! Today we get to meet Philidelphia-based author, Sidavy Kuong, Indie author of two books: Her Egypt and The Dying Falcon. Let's jump right in!
How are you?
I feel great, but a little nervous.
No need to feel nervous, we don't bite!
Who is your favorite fictional character and why?
Alif from G. Willow Wilson's "Alif The Unseen". I like the character because he is strong and smart.
What is the current book you are promoting?
The current book I'm promoting is "The Dying Falcon".
What is your next project?
My next project is a novel called "The Unwanted Ones". It is a family saga set in Cambodia.
If your book were made into a movie, who would you cast?
I would like to cast Ken Jeong from The Hangover and Community to play the character, Pappy, the tabloid journalist with a vendetta. That's who I really imagined would play the reporter.
I love Ken Jeong! He is such a fun guy to watch! Thanks for joining us Sidavy!
A bullied high school girl on the verge of suicide makes a deal with a gossip reporter to get back at the bullies especially when one of them is related to a Hollywood movie star, the target of the reporter’s vendetta. What follows is a series of hidden identities, hidden agendas, accusations of bigotry and bigotry itself, media frenzy, family estrangements, and a coming of age.
Looks like a good read! For those who want to check out The Dying Falcon, you can get it on Amazon.
Give this new author, Sidavy Kuong, some love and follow her on Goodreads.
